Valley of flowers trek is the most beautiful and fascinating trek in the world. It lies in the Western Himalayas of Uttarakhand region blessed with endemic alpine flora and verdant beauty of towering mountains which attracts the adventure seekers, nature lovers and mountaineers.
Therefore, The Valley of flowers is listed in the World Heritage Sites by UNESCO and is a National Park of Flowers. It extends from 5 to 7 km and is perched at an altitude of 3352 to 3700 m.

About Basecamp Joshimath 

It is a picturesque town in Chamoli at an altitude of 1875 m nestled amid high Himalayan peaks. It is the basecamp of many Himalayan treks and the gateway to famous pilgrim sites like Badrinath.
There is spirituality in the air because of the presence of ancient temples. It is home to one of the four “Math” “Atharva Veda” by Adi Shankaracharya. Joshimath has tranquil charm away from the cacophony of cities.
